History of Taj Mahal
- Construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1632 AD and completed in 20 years.
- Tmausoleum is built with white marble of Makarana city. It features exquisite Persian, Islamic, and Indian architectural elements.
- The height of main dome is 73 meters. It have 4 minarets at each corner and every minarets slightly tilted outward to prevent collapse in case of an earthquake.
- Taj Mahal is decorated with precious stones, intricate floral patterns, and Arabic inscriptions from the Quran.
